Shasta was born in a lovely pinkish house located one block from Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, California. He lived there until city life became too much for him to handle, moving across the Golden Gate Bridge into Marin County at age two. Throughout High School, Shasta was dreaming of performing stand-up comedy after repeatedly hearing people say, "You should be a stand-up comic", "What are you, some kinda comedian?" and, "No, I will not go out with you." After obtaining a very useful degree in Wildlife Management from Humboldt State University, Shasta returned to the Bay Area and began an exciting career as a meter reader. Two years later and fed up with the rat race, he moved to New Zealand for six months. Upon his return (deportation) back to the U.S., Shasta decided to follow his dream of being a stand-up comedian and improviser. Shasta is living in San Francisco, just a block from Golden Gate Park where he now enjoys performing stand-up comedy, improv and writing about himself in the third person. |
